FACULTY POSITION-BUILDING MECHANICAL SYSTEMS

The Department of Architectural Engineering at Penn State University, one of the nation?s leading engineering programs focused on the design and construction of buildings, invites applications for a full time tenured or tenure track faculty position in the area of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) and other building thermal/mechanical systems.  The successful candidate will teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop an externally funded research program, and supervise graduate students conducting thesis and dissertation research.  An earned doctorate in engineering and professional experience/registration are preferred.  Rank, salary, and tenure status are negotiable.  Information about Architectural Engineering at Penn State may be found at the Department web site, http://www.engr.psu.edu/ae/.
