Three Ph.D. studentships are available at the Institute
of Energy and Sustainable Development, De Montfort
University.
The areas of research are:
1. Application of Computational Fluid Dynamics to
Natural Ventilation.
2. Impact of Wide-Scale Uptake of Solar Energy - in
particular, Building Integrated Photovoltaics.
3. Modelling the Impact of Asymmetric Radiation
Fields on the Thermal Comfort of Human Beings.
Each studentship is tenable for 3 years and includes
tuition fees (UK and EU students) and a bursary of
6620 pounds. Applicants should have a good first degree.
