[BLDG-SIM] Gas Warm-up

I am modeling a building with gas heating in a packaged VAV rooftop unit.
My model works great for the months when gas is actually used, but I want to
shut the gas off during 7 months of the year.  The problem with just using
the heating schedule is that my zone reheat (electric) are also shut off
which means my energy usage is too little.  Does anyone know how to shut off
the system heat without affecting the zone heat?  I would appreciate any
help.  Thanks.
