[BLDG-SIM] Gas Warm-up

I did something similar for what our developers call hybrid buildings. The electric reheat is turned off during unoccupied periods. In essence the system actually operates like a VVT during those periods. That you can't really model well. But with DOE2.2 I created a virtual hw-loop and elec boiler to serve the reheat, and used a schedule to turn it off at night.

You can create a virtual HW loop and boiler to mimic the RTU gas furnace. Schedule the loop off during the summer with one of the loop schedules. Print some hourly reports to make sure it really is working. There may be a fatal flaw. Good luck.

I am modeling a building with gas heating in a packaged VAV rooftop unit.
My model works great for the months when gas is actually used, but I want to
shut the gas off during 7 months of the year.  The problem with just using
the heating schedule is that my zone reheat (electric) are also shut off
which means my energy usage is too little.  Does anyone know how to shut off
the system heat without affecting the zone heat?  I would appreciate any
help.  Thanks.
I am using the PowerDOE interface.  My apologies for not including that in
the original message.
