[BLDG-SIM] statistics on the usage of building simulation programs

Dear colleagues,

I am looking for statistical information on the number of new commercial buildings (in North America/Europe/Asia) that are currently designed with the help of building design software compared to all new buildings? More detailed information what type of simulation tools are preferably used, i.e. thermal - lighting/daylighting  - ventilation - acoustics etc. would also be most welcome. Thanks a lot,
