Appendix G is not approved yet.  A second public review draft will be available soon.  Jason Glazer would be able to give you more definitive answer on when the second draft will be available.

The BSR/ASHRAE/IESNA Addendum e to ASHRAE 90.1- 2001 as Informative Appendix G was available for public review in July 2002, can someone update me its status? Whether it is officially approved or under another review?

 

The new appendix supposes to provide more clear methodology for performing LEED Energy and Atmosphere Credit 1 - Optimize Energy Performance calculations.
