We are pleased to announce the beta release of GenOpt 2.0.0.

GenOpt is an optimization program for the minimization of a cost 
function, such as annual energy use, that is evaluated by an external 
simulation program, such as EnergyPlus, TRNSYS, SPARK, DOE-2, or any 
simulation program with text-based input and output.
