There was some work done at Lund Institute of Technology in Sweden by Noren and Pyrko. You can check 2 papers they wrote: Noren, C., and Pyrko, J. 1998a. Typical load shapes for Swedish schools and hotels. Energy and Buildings. Volume 28, Number 3, 1998, pp.145-157. Noren, C., and Pyrko, J 1998b. Using multiple regression analysis to develop electricity consumption indicators for public schools. Proceedings of the 1998 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings, pp.3.255-3.266.
ASHRAE RP-1093 also has an extensive set of typical load shapes of lighting and receptacles for office buildings in the U.S. (developed from year-long hourly monitored datasets).
