[BLDG-SIM] PV, Double-Wall, Energy Programs
Bill,
There has been a good bit of work done in Europe with double facade
buildings using TRNSYS coupled with COMIS. An email to the TRNSYS group
list might turn up some more specific information on projects and
experiences. You can sign up for the list by going to
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys by following the "EMail List" link.
Kind regards,
David

Has anyone modelled energy savings due to double wall construction? If
so, what software did you use? DOE2 has a sunspace module that could be
modified to mimic a double wall cavity, but this is not meant for
multistory applications. I am looking at a multistory office building
with a naturally vented double-wall cavity.
Thanks,
Bill Talbert
