The simplest way to do the courtyard thing (through the
wizard) is to model a small gap through one of the sides of the courtyard. What
you'll need to do then is to go in and delete the 2 exterior walls facing the
gap.
It is not possible to change interior wall types to
exterior wall types (that I know of), but you can create an exterior wall in the
same position, and delete the interior wall.

model a courtyard surrounded by classrooms and be able to place windows on the
courtyard walls? Second Question: Is it
possible to change an interior wall type into an exterior wall
type? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Matt
