our operation globally. As part of a consolidated worldwide expansion
programme IES are currently looking for a range of enthusiastic candidates
preferably with experience in building simulation. Knowledge of
IES’s <Virtual Environment> whilst desirable is not essential and
comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidates. All

Business Development Manager (London & South Business Development
Manager responsible for software sales. You should be a consultative
sales person with a background in the construction industry capable of helping
customers to achieve the best solution to meet their requirements.
We are seeking someone who can build relationships and win new clients in
the built environment sector. You should have an enthusiasm for promoting
performance assessment tools particularly for sustainable design
solutions. IES will provide training in the required skills; account
management and client relationships. You must be a good negotiator with
excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role will be based
in Building
Simulation Engineers ( IES’ international
consulting team can offer you unparalleled opportunities in which to build a
career in Building Simulation whilst developing your professional and personal
skills. You will be responsible for a variety of customer projects
including some of the most challenging and high profile international projects
across a range of sectors. As a member of a team of project
consultants, you will provide a comprehensive technical service to customers
and will be encouraged to expand your capabilities to customer training and
specialist project based coaching. The ideal candidate will be a
confident communicator, with experience in a related industry. Software
Developer: Thermal Applications ( You will be working on
the development and maintenance of advanced thermal simulation software.
You should have a detailed understanding of building physics and thermodynamics
and a degree in either computing, physics, building services or mechanical
engineering. You will also need commercial software development
experience with Fortran or C++, preferably in MS Visual Studio.
Experience of building performance computer modelling systems would be an
