Brad, Here are my understandings.
The e-Quest is not on the list.

Behalf Of Brad Bergler Two energy incentive questions for the group: 1. Does anyone
know the status of eQuest with regard to it’s listing by the DOE as
approved software for compliance with the 2005 e-pact energy tax incentives? 2. With respect
to “partially qualifying property” section 2 paragraph .03 of IRS
notice 2006-052. Does anyone have an opinion as to the intent of breaking the
“property” into three components; Envelope, HVAC, and Lighting? If
a building cannot beat 90.1-2001 by 50%, must the budget building be modeled
against the same building with only the lighting changed, and beat 90.1 by
16.7% in order to achieve partial credit of $0.60/SF? Or can the proposed
building with all ECM’s be modeled against the budget building and
achieve partial credit? If the intent of E-pact is to encourage energy
efficient buildings, it seams that save 20% and 30% over 90.1 would be eligible
for partial credit. Thanks for your input, Brad ==================You received this e-mail because you are subscribed to the BLDG-SIM@xxxxxxxx mailing list.
