Seeking Junior/Entry and Mid Level Engineers for RLW Analytics’ in Sonoma

Junior/entry and mid-level engineering positions at RLW’s California office offer opportunities for rapid advancement in the energy efficiency/building science field. The ideal candidate will have an engineering or related degree and a strong grasp of first principles. Applicant should have strong technical writing skills and a solid foundation with standard word processing and spreadsheet applications. Excellent oral and written communication abilities are a must. Familiarity with HVAC, lighting and data logging equipment is a plus. Database and programming abilities are helpful, but not required. Individual should be self-motivated, and “quick on the uptake”.

Job activities include site surveys, short-term monitoring, commercial and residential building energy simulation, research, evaluation of energy efficiency measures and report writing. These positions will also involve some proposal writing, data analysis, and assisting with project management. Individual will work on the evaluation of utility energy efficiency programs, technology assessment, market research, and variety of other research studies. Some travel likely.
