[BLDG-SIM] eQUEST & Vista

The problem has been resolved.

First install the eQUEST program under Vista.   Go to  Start  >  Help & Support (Sony Computer)  >  Information from Microsoft  >  Choose No. 2 (Get your programs to work on this version of Windows).  This will open up the "Program Compatibility Wizard".  Follow the instructions.  Several other programs that I tried to install (Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard and AutoCAD LT 2005) from the CD using the Wizard were not accepted.  AutoCAD LT installed but when you try to use the program there is message saying incompatible with Vista.  The DOE2.1E programs, using the DOS or Command Prompt window (Start  >  All Programs  >  Accessories  >  Command Prompt) worked. So did EnergyPlus using the Text Editor.
