Subject: Floating Point Error from Glass Conductance

Has anyone else experienced a floating point error during loads calculations when changing the value of GLASS-CONDUCT?  I started with a value of 1.6, then changed to 0.46.  The GLASS-CONDUCT = 1.6 runs fine, but the GLASS-CONDUCT = 0.46 crashes during the loads program due to a floating point error “K-02.”  I double- and triple-checked, and these glass conductance values are the only changes between runs.  Actually, trying other values showed than it didn’t stop crashing until the conductance got as high as about 1.2.  So much for decent windows!

I have done several models before in which glass conductance was varied to show savings between different window products, but this has never happened to me.  Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

Kristin
