Building Simulation Weather Data Resources

The following is a list of resources for finding weather data for a building energy simulation program. Most building energy simulation programs are used with a years worth of "typical weather" in order to predict how a building is going to perform in the future. Typical weather files are often statistically selected data from actual recorded weather observations.

Description	Hourly weather data. Typical Meteorological Year data for 239 locations in the United States. Data can be downloaded or a disk can be ordered for $15. A users manual that describes the format in detail can be downloaded also.
